Everyone shares a common development framework — group sessions, masterclasses, hands-on practice and shared standards for progress. The technical focus, portfolio assignments and mentor recommendations differ by profile and current level. The cohort learns together without forcing every artist onto the same development path.

At the start of the season, we assess current skills, experience and goals, then define development priorities together. Mentor feedback, hands-on work, performances and reviews every two months update the plan and guide the next steps. Comments, attendance, evaluations and development tasks are recorded in a digital profile.

Every workshop follows the same development loop: performance, focused mentor feedback, new preparation and another review. In your first session, you perform a 30-minute set. The mentor looks beyond technique to selection, set structure, transitions and energy control. If your selection is strong but you change the energy too early, you leave with a clear task for the next workshop. You return with a revised set, your progress is recorded, and the next step is based on what you demonstrate — a longer set, a more demanding technical assignment or, when you are ready, a performance in front of an audience.

Alongside returning speakers from Serbia, we plan to welcome new guests from across the European scene during the next season. The aim is to expose artists to different working methods, perspectives from other music communities, and direct conversations with artists and industry professionals. Some sessions will run as intensive masterclass blocks, allowing more time for questions, discussion and hands-on work. Guest names will be announced once their dates are confirmed.

No individual performance is automatic. Showcases and work in club settings are part of the development model, but opportunities depend on readiness, consistency, musical direction, event programming and available dates. Additional club, regional and festival appearances are reserved for selected artists.

No. Owning equipment is not a requirement, and purchasing power is not a selection criterion. The application asks what equipment and software you can access regularly so we can understand your current working conditions. Hands-on practice at Club Kult will take place on a professional club setup that includes Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 multi players, Pioneer DJ DJM-V10 and Allen & Heath Xone:96 mixers, and Technics SL-1200MK7 turntables. The configuration will not be identical in every session — it will evolve with the program and adapt to the group’s level, the focus of each exercise and the guest instructor’s workflow.

Once your links are ready, the application takes around 10–15 minutes. The work that best represents you is required; SoundCloud and Instagram profiles are optional. For a DJ profile, representative work means a set around 60 minutes long or, if you are just starting, a playlist of 10–15 tracks; for a production profile, an original track, sketch or portfolio; for a hybrid profile, a DJ mix, production work or both. Every link you submit should open without sign-in.

The program is planned to run for nine months. The start is expected after the venue renovation, most likely in late September; the exact date will be announced soon. Places are limited, and further details about the participation fee and terms will be shared in good time before final selection.

Program Hub is a private digital space for active members. It brings schedules, materials, communication, attendance, mentor comments, evaluations and development steps together in one place. Access is granted after participation is confirmed, and member data is not public.
